Progress on the year adventure is thus. We held a planning meeting in Reds True BBQ a few weeks ago. If you don’t know about Reds (and you enjoy BBQ meat) then I suggest you get online, have a look at Reds BBQ find your nearest and prepare yourself for meat heaven.

The first order of business & the first decision to be made on the year was Steak or Ribs? Being the indecisive pair we are, we opted for both. What a great decision that was!

It was soon decided that we should start out with a fairly easy walk, and opted for The Tissington Trail.

So, where to start? At the beginning I hear you say. This is my first attempt at anything like this, so please be gentle: Like, share, follow, whatever it is the cool internet types do these days.

My intention for this blog going forward, is to document life as I see it, anything from  reviews of the latest gadget I’ve convinced my wife Emma to let me buy, to adventures I have along the way with my little boys, who I affectionately refer to as Bean & Tom Tom – the inspiration for the name of this blog, and I presume the likely topic of many future entries.

‘2021 – A year of adventure V2.0’ as it has been dubbed, is a go, stick around to see what happens. – It should be fun!
